Aashis

is a boy. He is born in 2002 in Jumla, as we know. He is studying 1st class.

His mother is deaf and mute. She was raped, and Aashi is the result. A few month after his birth she also died then his grand mother gave all support but after six years she was not able to give all those things because of getting old so she gave to the Bhaktapur children's home.

The grandmother is the only family member we know. He came to the home in 2007.

He is bright and quick for learning and enjoys interaction. He also looks out for the younger children and involves them in playing.
