Asha Gurung

Asha Gurung is the sister of Pritam. They both live in the Anapurna self-sustaining children's home in Nepal.

Their father died and their mother who has cleft palate, married a second time. She lives in a poor situation. The new husband rejected Asha and Pretum, and forced them to work hard. The Village committee recommended to children home.

Close persons are the brother Pritam, and the mother.

She attends school and wants to become a pilot. Asha is gentle in nature and a quick intelligence, she helps the younger children in their homework as well as receiving extra tuition herself.

She has found a German sponsor.
